You woke up to this Facebook message from your friend, Barbara-Sue:
“I have super exciting news! Billy and I are expecting a baby!!!”
This was followed by a bunch of comments like “OMG! Great news!” and “That was quick! Congratulations!”
Great. Barbara-Sue has been married for like a month and she is already expecting. You leave your desk and sob in the office bathroom for close to an hour. You get back to your desk and check Facebook again (because you like to torture yourself) and find Barbara-Sue has posted another update.
“APRIL FOOLS! We aren’t pregnant yet!”
Oh B-S, you are so hilarious! What a great and completely non-painful joke. I’m laughing. My twisted uterus is laughing. My blocked fallopian tube is laughing. My husband’s low sperm count is laughing. Even the transvaginal wand from my morning ultrasound appointment is chuckling. Great joke. I think your fake pregnancy announcement is very funny and infertiles everywhere are enjoying your sense of humor. April Fools to you!
