The below song “” caused a lot of controversy. But they got it all wrong. We, infertile gals, are the smug ones! We brag because we get the royal treatment when trying to conceive; we have someone else examining our uterus’ everyday; we have someone else telling us when we ovulate; and we boast about our daily needles, fertility drugs and transvaginal wand appointments. We are just too fabulous to get pregnant the old fashion way.

I had this conversation last night with my husband.
Him: “So if it [this latest IUI] worked, I think this time it’s a girl. Last time I thought it was a boy.”
Me: I don’t care, as long as it’s healthy.
but at least I’ll tell people who the father is. She’s this perky adorable nurse practitioner with really good aim!

Oh that was funny! I love how everyone that gets pregnant automatically gets “baby brain” I have told my friends that they can kick me hard if I ever mutter those words.

I have a coworker right now who just found out she is pregnant and she constantly rubs her belly in fast circles and smiles at me. Ugh, I just want to scream at her and tell her that there is NOTHING there yet and the fetus is smaller that a pea.
