Isn’t every IVF a royal one?

  2. A Brit says:

Was thinking exact same thing. You watch, three months down the line. She’ll be ‘with royal child’. Always the way. Nearly 8 years TTC for me, I know for a fact she’ll be onto her second baby before I get to start my NHS IVF. Wish her luck though. I wouldnt like to be a royal infertile, can you imagine the pressure?

  3. says:

I’m pretty sure she’s already endured some royal bloodwork just to make sure!

  4. says:

I was just talking about this with my hubby yesterday. The amount of pressure on this couple to create and heir will be ridiculous! All of the stuff we hear about how “we’re not getting any younger” will be amplified by a million for Kate!

  5. jdfan14 says:

yes I am sure the pressure to create a heir is enourmous and I am sure she has had royal bloodwork as Betsy said otherwise another one would have been chosen for the wedding..lol.

  6. Kelly says:

They were already talking about Kate and William having a baby on TV! The new married couple hadn’t even made it back to the palace. The pressure is on. Poor things!

  7. says:

do you think this Q is even in the thoughts of non IFers?? myself and my hubby discussed this too and I mentioned it on a forum earlier because I would imagine too that they would not have them married before they’ve checked. I dont know how they can guarantee boys but i;m sure they have her sussed as best they can…ah true love LOL

  8. Alexandra's mum says:

Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if she at least was asked to take some blood tests. Can’t have a princess with pcos! The question is….has William had to endure any seamen analysis?

I actually feel very bad for Kate. I have no idea why anyone would want that life. I can’t even imagine the pressure to produce an heir :(

  9. Brit16 says:

It is hard enough to be infertile as a “normal” person. I can’t imagine the crazy amount of pressure there will be for them to have a baby. For her sake I hope they do not have fertility issues! We went through 5 years and 6 cycles before finally having our little one! If you would like to read our story visit http://www.ivfsuccessstories.info

It is beyond me why some preliminary fertility testing is not included in standard physicals. Fertility problems are often not limited to impacting fertility. A low quality semen analysis can indicate many other health problems, as could certain basic fertility blood tests for women. This idea that we must wait for at least a year before being able to access these non-invasive, relatively inexpensive tests needs to change.

And not that I would wish infertility on anyone, but it would be pretty incredible if a couple with their power to change public policy experienced some of the pain and struggle that so many of us without their power suffer thru silently.

  11. Meh says:

I don’t get this at all. And I really doubt William thought this inane thought on his wedding. Just sayin’ lol

  12. Sinan Ozyol Poops Himself says:

If Kate wants to get pregnant, looks like she’ll have to gain some weight.

  13. Hope4bb says:

All I could think was… she’ll have the money for as many cycles as she needs… I was already jealous of the princess… Later I realised the girl is just getting married and I was picturing her having EC, ET…
